Humanities Institute is a tuition-free distance education graduate school. Doctor of Philosophy in Humanities The Graduate programs are designed for individuals who would like to continue their studies in interdisciplinary Humanities after their Master's degree. The students explore specific areas, topics, or themes of study in a way that is in-depth, personalized, and allows one-on-one guidance from world-respected experts. The Doctor of Philosophy program allows the student to assemble a personalized plan of study as a customized degree plan under the guidance of a lead professor and to select courses that align with the student’s interests. Students entering the program with a Master's degree are required to take 60 credits. How to Apply for Admission to the Institute?
Students must review the HI catalog and send the following documents through e-mail to the Admissions Office at admissions@humanitiesinstitute.org. 1. A Curriculum Vitae that includes demographic information, past educational and work experience.2. An autobiographical narrative about yourself and your interest in studying in the field of Humanities.3. Transcripts. Predoctoral Fellowships Humanities Institute is currently inviting applications for fully-funded doctoral fellowships that include a stipend to join our certificate and the Doctoral program in Humanities. HI particularly welcomes proposals addressing: a) Thematic applications in Literature, Life Writing, Cinema, Sociology and Psychology.b) Interdisciplinary and comparative analysis in World Civilizations;
